The "Stary gorod - KARST" construction holding company was established in 1991 by graduates of Saint-Petersburg Mining Institute and All-Union Mineral Survey Methods and Technologies Research Institute (VITR) of the Ministry of geology of the USSR.

Since Company had been created, its priority was shoring and underpinning works for historical buildings of Saint-Petersburg, as well as bored piles and root piles installation within developed quarters.

Orders volume growth and subsequent business expansion led to growing needs for development of innovative technologies and mastering world advanced construction experience. Therefore contacts with world’s leading manufacturers of piling and geotechnical equipment were established.

Today "Stary gorod - KARST" Company is one of the leaders in complex geotechnical works in Saint-Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Company is able to carry out these works in different regions of Russia as well.
